Repairs and maintenance service provider Morrison, has boosted the number of apprentices it employs in Yorkshire to 48, following the recruitment of 17 new apprentices in Leeds.

Morrison's Rotherham team is celebrating after winning a Chartered Institute of Building award for Collaborative Working at the Celebrating Construction in South Yorkshire Awards (CCISY). Morrison won the award for its support of employment opportunities within Rotherham, in partnership with Access All Areas and Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC).

Morrison has secured a new seven year multi-million pound contract with Home Group to look after over 14,000 properties in the North East of England.

Repairs and maintenance provider Morrison together with other companies from across Merseyside has helped the BBC's DIY SOS: The Big Build team to complete its biggest ever project in aid of Children in Need.
