At Morrison we actively promote energy efficiency measures in residential, public and operational premises. We set energy targets for the achievement in reduction of gas and electricity in our properties. Through the control of unnecessary energy consumption, Morrison is responsible for fewer polluting and greenhouse gas emissions.

We actively engage in locating local purchase and supply opportunities. Morrison endeavour to purchase tools and equipment, as recommended in the Green Buyers Guide, that will have least impact on the environment.

We are able to  monitor our supply chain waste from the cradle-to-the-grave to meet our Duty of Care responsibilities. Additionally we encourage the increased segregation of recyclable waste. At our depots we have a re-cycle base and all waste is colour coded for efficiency in waste disposal.
