The main risks associated with maintenance are those of asbestos, working in confined spaces, working at height and manual handling. Risk assessment is where we look at the assumptions and uncertainties of a particular situation and plan for them. We routinely undertake this for all our contracts and have a set of processes in place to manage threats or hazards.

Every one of our operatives and sub-contractors is part of the unique Passport To Work scheme: this ensures that they are fully trained in the relevant health and safety skills they need. They can’t set foot in your premises until they’ve passed this requirement.

The Morrison Quality Environment (available to all staff through our intranet) is a storehouse of advice and policy on quality, including the key area of health and safety.
